What is an AI character?
An AI character is a conversation experience with its own persona, presentation, and relationship memory. In GizAI, a character can be configured with a name, behavior, portrait, voice, background, and the model that generates its replies.
Can I talk to an AI character by video?
Characters can respond in text, voice, or video mode when their voice and video setup supports it. Video is synthesized talking-head media, not a live human call, so availability and response timing can vary by character and current service conditions.
Will an AI character remember me?
Relevant preferences, boundaries, continuity, facts, and plans can be stored in a memory that is scoped to your signed-in account and that character. GizAI does not treat every line as permanent memory: it extracts relevant context periodically, and you can review or edit saved memory yourself.
Can I create my own AI character?
Yes. Sign in, choose Create my character, then define the personality and conversation style. You can upload or generate a portrait, add a background, generate or upload a voice, create idle motion, set a durable relationship memory, and choose the reply model before saving.
Can I use my own face or voice?
Use only images and recordings that you own or are clearly authorized to use. Do not use the service to impersonate a real person or create deceptive media.
Do all characters support the same response modes?
No. Text is the simplest mode; voice and video depend on the character assets and live rendering support. GizAI shows the available controls in the conversation rather than promising the same media capabilities for every character.
What can I use AI characters for?
