GizAI Update: Faster Video Generation, Model Changes, and Drive Cleanup
GizAI Update: Faster Video Generation, Model Changes, and Drive Cleanup
Since our July 14 update, GizAI has received several important model, Drive, and reliability improvements.
Wan 2.2 I2V 14B Fast
Wan 2.2 I2V 14B Fast is now available for high-speed image-to-video generation.
It can generate a 5-second video in approximately 10 seconds, depending on the input and current queue. It supports uploaded or automatically generated first frames, videos up to 8 seconds, and 480p or 720p output.
Retired Models
The following models have been retired:
- Sora 2, following OpenAI's decision to discontinue the Sora service. See OpenAI's official notice.
- MAI Image 2 and MAI Image 2e, following Microsoft's decision to retire these preview services. See Microsoft's model retirement schedule.
- Nano Banana Pro, which has been superseded by Nano Banana 2.
The Artificial Analysis image-editing leaderboard currently scores Nano Banana 2 above Nano Banana Pro, while listing Pro at $134 per 1,000 images—twice the $67 price of Nano Banana 2. Maintaining the older, more expensive model therefore no longer provided meaningful value.
Previously generated files remain available in GizAI Drive.
GPT Image 2 Changes
GPT Image 2 now supports up to 5 images per request, and the High quality tier is no longer available.
The VibeDex quality comparison found that High costs about four times more than Medium for only about a 1% higher benchmark score. A single request for ten 4K High images costs GizAI about $4, which is not sustainable as an included service; we have therefore limited each request to five images and removed High.
Drive and Reliability Improvements
Drive now lets you clean up old files in any folder by selecting an age threshold and confirming the exact number of affected files. Deleted files remain recoverable in Trash for 7 days, while managed folders such as Generated remain available for future creations.
We have also improved generation recovery, media delivery, mobile layouts, Community navigation, and authenticated Drive and Computer access.
Thank you for continuing to help us improve GizAI.
