Why We Updated the Model Lineup

We’ve retired GPT-5.5, GPT-5.3 Chat, Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview, Claude Sonnet 4.6, and Llama 4 as part of an AI Chat lineup update to keep GizAI fast, useful, and sustainable, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Some of these retired models were used by only a small number of users, while their API costs were extremely high. In some cases, the costs were close to the total subscription revenue we receive. To keep GizAI affordable and sustainable, we had to make a difficult but necessary adjustment.

For most everyday tasks, GPT-5.4 Mini remains more than capable. For users who need stronger reasoning ability, we have added generous access to high-performing models such as DeepSeek V4 Pro, MiniMax M3, Qwen3.7 Plus, Grok 4.3, and Gemini 3.5 Flash. Gemini 3.5 Flash also performs stronger than Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview on major independent AI benchmarks, so we believe this is a meaningful upgrade for most users.

GizAI is also built especially for creative generation across video, image, audio, and writing, not only AI chat.
